It's Grand Slam title number two for the 21-year-old Coco Gauff.
Three years after she suffered defeat in her first French Open final, the American triumphs over the world number one.
Aryna Sabalenka looked unstoppable at the start of this match, but Gauff was not overawed and patiently set about plotting her route to the trophy from there.
After two hours and 38 minutes on court, battling the world's best player and the elements, she is such a worthy champion.
